Many of you have questions about your sex life. You wonder if what is-- or isn't-- happening and whether your level or interest or desire is 'the norm.' The natural thing for women to do is to turn to their friends. On the other hand, some women get uncomfortable about sharing details with their gal pals, wondering if they are somehow betraying their partner or injuring the exclusive, intimate, sexual relationship they have with their husband or lover. I get asked all the time, "Is it a betrayal to talk about my sex life?" The answer: It really depends on your motivation and what it is that you're saying.

If you're exploring with your girlfriends to, somehow, gain a new perspective or gain a new understanding that will make you feel more secure and more at ease when you're in bed with your partner, then FINE. Do it in a way so that you ask questions and provide information while still maintaining some level of privacy. You don't want to compromise the dignity and sacredness of your relationship.
If, however, you're just talking about your sex life to boast or to brag...or just trying to learn the details of someone else's sex life, then you might want to think twice and consider what you may LOSE in the process.

It's really important to have the intimacy be something special between you and your partner that makes it exclusive to the two of you.
